Description
The Game Of Four contains 40 Passover themed cards, each measuring 3” x 4-1/2”. 'The Game of Four' is an entertaining children's card game designed to teach children about the Seder in a fun and informative way. This game brings out one of the central motifs of the Seder - the recurring theme of the number four. The game is similar to the popular game, Go Fish, and includes 10 sets of 4 cards, for a total of 40 cards. Each set of cards features a different category of items related to the Seder, such as the Four Sons, the Four Cups of Wine and the Ma Nishtana (the Four Questions). Striking hand-drawn illustrations in pastel colors, by Ann Koffsky lend charm and animation to this game.
The object of the game is to get the most sets of four cards. Each player is dealt four cards. When it is your turn, choose one of your cards and ask another player if they have any cards of that set. If they do, they must give you all their matching cards. If the first player you ask has cards that match, you can then continue asking other players for matches until you reach a player without any matching cards. If the first player you ask does not have any matching cards, you draw a new card from the pile and it's the next player's turn.
When all the cards in the game are finished, the person with the most sets wins.
The Four Questions Finger Puppets are each two-sided showing why Passover is different from all other nights of the year.
