The Tree of Life Ketubah by Mickie Caspi features a delicate and delightful Tree of Life (Etz Chaim). The branches filled with leaves, fruit and birds create a canopy above the marriage vows. A blue sky artfully painted in watercolor with Stars of David and a green watercolor wash at the base of the tree create an elegant and classic design. Shimmering accents in the tree and throughout the ketubah and the traditional quote from the Song of Songs are wonderfully added using gold foil. The Tree of Life Ketubah was originally painted by Mickie using watercolor, pen and ink and then was printed in Israel. In the Book of Proverbs, the Tree of Life is associated with both wisdom and calmness.

Since The Tree of Life Ketubah consists of two columns, the Traditional Aramaic (Orthodox) text is not available. To read any of the other individual texts (ranging from orthodox to secular) available, either click on the text link above to open an enlarged window. As an alternative, you may read through all of the texts at the Read Ketubah Texts page. If you want to have a custom Ketubah created by Mickie, either similar or not to the Tree of Life Ketubah, you may contact her via email, phone (1-800-538-8268) or by navigating to either her Etsy Shop or her Original Ketubah Gallery.

At the bottom of the Tree of Life Ketubah, the following quote is calligraphed by Mickie in Hebrew and English:

I have found the one in whom my soul delights
  • מצאתי את שאהבה נפשי
